Maundy Thursday March 29th, 6 PM Seder Meal
On Maundy Thursday this year Zion of Amor will be reliving Jesus’ last supper by hosting a Seder Meal as our worship service. The service will be held in the fellowship hall and will include simple meal. A communion service will follow as we remember how Jesus changed the Passover into the celebration of the Holy Communion.
The church will provide the traditional required foods of the Passover and the simple meal (no potluck as it would take a while). However, dessert will be potluck after the communion service. A free will offering will cover the cost of the meal.
For planning purposes, please let the office know if you plan on attending and have not signed up. Want to help? A Maundy Thursday signup sheet is in the narthex/lobby. (Or you can call the office at 495-2563)
This is a unique opportunity to step into our biblical heritage. Plan on attending and bring a few friends and neighbors!

ZION’S MISSION STATEMENT:
We are claimed, gathered,
and sent forth to serve and
witness in Jesus’ name.
ZION’S VISION STATEMENT:
Zion is a welcoming church where
all people will experience a
vibrant lifelong journey in faith
through worship, education,
mission and service.
We believe in one God in Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and alone informs our faith.
We believe that God became incarnate in Jesus Christ, who suffered,
bled, and died crucified upon a cross for the sins of the world.
We believe He rose again bodily from the dead and faith in Him alone
brings forgiveness of sins, salvation, and eternal life.
We believe that God imparts His Holy Spirit to us in Baptism, and that
Jesus Christ is truly present in the Lord's Supper.
We believe that the three ecumenical creeds
(Apostles’, Nicene, & Athanasian) are an accurate summary of our faith, and
we believe the Lutheran Confessions are a faithful exposition
of all Scripture.
