The Harvest Garden

2016 as a legacy project by Intern Jon Rundquist. The Harvest Garden mission is to provide an opportunity for all ages of Zion members and the East Otter Tail community to grow in faith while growing organic produce for the community.

Our goal is to provide organically grown produce to those who have need, free of charge, through a Sunday Market located in Zion’s Fellowship Hall from July 1 thru the end of September 30. Time: 9 -11 am.

Produce items grown include, lettuce, green beans, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, summer squash, pumpkins, winter squash, cucumbers, carrots, and herbs.

You can participate in the Harvest Garden in many ways; help plant, water or harvest the produce, donate produce for the Sunday Market from your garden, take home produce from the Sunday Market, pray that God will bless our garden with adequate rain, sunshine, and protect it from storms and wildlife. The Harvest Garden is a community garden located in God’s Acres.
